The technology in Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength and Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Regular Strength helps the gel to penetrate deeply into the skin to deliver diclofenac diethylamine to the site of pain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eVoltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength and Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Regular Strength is formulated for rubbing into the skin to relieve acute pain affecting the joints. Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength and Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Regular Strength are used to treat pain and inflammation of muscles, joints, due to sprains and strains, sports injuries (eg. tennis elbow).\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eHow to use:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUsual dose:\u003cbr\u003eFor adults between 18 to 65 years:\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eApply 2 g of gel 2 times a day (morning and evening) on the painful area.\u003cbr\u003eThe amount of gel applied (2 g for each application) should be measured using the dosing card supplied in the product carton. For each application the gel should be squeezed from the tube and measured up to the 2 g line on the dosing card. Clean and dry the dosing card after each use.\u003cbr\u003eDo not use more than 4 g per day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTube: before first use, unscrew and remove the cap. Use the reverse side of the cap to remove the seal from the tube. Gently squeeze out a small amount of gel from the tube and apply to the painful or swollen area, slowly rubbing into the skin.\u003cbr\u003eYou may notice a slight cooling effect when you rub the gel in.\u003cbr\u003eWash your hands after rubbing in Voltaren Emulgel Joint Pain Extra Strength to avoid accidental contact with the mouth and eyes, unless of course they are the site being treated.\u003cbr\u003eThe gel should not be used for more than 7 days for muscle and joint injuries, unless recommended by a doctor.
