Lu Bu was conceived as an olfactory portrait of a warrior, one forged by conflict, betrayal, and myth. The smokiness (gunpowder, “hot metal”) suggests weapons, battlefields, and the metallic echo of steel. The powdery iris, almond and vanilla soften the edges — offering humanity beneath the armor.
